Q. Do I need a referral?
A. No you do not need a referral to book an appointment. If you wish to claim a Medicare rebate, you require a referral from your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist.

Q. What assistance can I get with the cost of appointments?
A. There are several ways that you can reduce your out of pocket costs.
– ask your GP about a mental health care plan referral, which will provide a rebate of $84.80.
– claim part of the cost through your private health insurance.
– use funding from DSS (Helping Children with Autism and Better Start).

Q. How can I pay for my sessions?
A. Payment is required at the time of consultation by either credit card, or direct deposit. Please contact the clinic before your session if this is an issue.

Q. What if I have to cancel an appointment?
A. At least 24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment. Please either phone or email the clinic so that the appointment can be offered to someone else. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $50 cancellation fee.
